How the CHIP ILA Introduction Service Works

The CHIP ILA Introduction Service matches clients with legal advisors based on geographic proximity to the client’s home. Once enrolled in the service, you will be entered into a database for on-going introduction opportunities to new clients as appropriate.

Here’s how the process works:

• When a client indicates they do not have a lawyer, or requests an introduction to legal counsel to finalize their CHIP Home Income Plan, we will provide a list of up to five lawyers in their local area.
• It is the client’s responsibility to contact the lawyers, and select and retain the lawyer best-suited to their needs.

The CHIP ILA Introduction Service is offered free of charge to all CHIP clients. ILAs who enroll in this service do so on a voluntary basis and receive no financial consideration of any kind from CHIP.
